My Work: Beef Stew and New Craft Workstation

I had a busy night. Didn't have a great day yesterday and so.. I retreated to cooking and putting my workstation together. I needed it set up to finish my current project for sewing class and start my Christmas homemade gift marathon. I think I've mention yesterday Mr. Mad and I went to Target and scored a $15 crockpot with the after Thanksgiving sale. So I made beef stew for today's dinner.

It was really simple. I bought one of those McCormick's seasoning packet. I used 1lb of roast beef cut in 1" cubes, onions, garlic, green beans, potatoes, and carrots with it. You can brown the beef after tossing in 2 tsp of flours and a pinch of salt and pepper in a skillet prior if you want. But if not toss everything into the slow cooker with 3 cups of water and VOILA! Yummy beef stew!

I finally bought my shelf and something to hang some of my ribbon as planned for my budget workstation. All courtesy of Ikea of course. I've been subscribing to Ikea Hacker (more on that later)and it has been a real inspiration.

Before photo (pic# 1 in collage), Picture #2 in collage is a problem area still:

The Breakdown: To be continued in tomorrow's blog.

The beef stew looks so good. Your workstation looks so clean and organized. I need a better and bigger desk for myself. Maybe Santa will give me a new desk.
